I have recently become very frustrated with the general public's seeming lack of courtesy toward Realtors in general. From the sellers who have spent the listing agents time and money and arbitrarily decide to wait until next year to sell versus lowering the price $5-10,000, to the buyers who contact you, ask for hours of search time and results, then hours of showings and are unwilling to sign a buyer rep agreement and/or simply disappear not returning calls or emails. My time is valuable and should be treated thus. At the minimum I deserve an email letting me know what is going on. Nashville real estate - I've had a lot of people ask me why they would move in this type of environment. And I'm sure I have consistantly given them all the same answer. If you want a bigger house, It's a good time to buy, the inventory level is as good as you could ever expect If you want a new house with all the upgrades, selections are great. Interest rates are low, they may go lower, or they may go back above 7 percent soon. It would just be a gamble to expect rates to get better. Prices are probably never going to be better.
