This Friday night in Highlands Ranch will be the first of three-movie series in the month of August. August 3 from 8:30pm to 10:00pm the Civic Center Auditorium on Civic Green Park, right near the public library, the movie MOANA will be shown. These animated features by Disney were wildly popular in the years of their release and are great family friendly entertainment.                                 This week is the last of the Summer concert series in Highlands Ranch. If you recall, we have blogged about this weekly and monthly event as part of our Highlands Ranch property management event watch and have personally attended it a few times as well. The concert is held at Highland Heritage Reginal park and has capacity in the high hundreds. Looking at photos from past events you can tell that there are plenty of people at each event to make it a great, community event with an interactive and communal feel. There is a great event in Highlands Ranch coming up next week, the Oaked & Smoked American Whiskey and BBQ at the back outside lawn of the Eastridge Rec Center. Next week is a nice opportunity for those that are older to be able to use the swimming pool at the Eastridge Rec Center. If you have been by the pool during the summer, it can often be dominated by younger children and teens. There are brief intermittent periods known as “adult swim” where all the kids clear the pool and the adults can have 15 minutes without interruption. This week is the Fourth of July and with that comes a host of barbeques, celebrations and parades. In the coming days we will report on some of the big ones in the communities we serve. Today is the penultimate Culture on the green show in Highlands Ranch. We have reported on this series once a month, as it is one of the premiere culture events in Highlands Ranch, that draws the most people, is the most interesting, and can handle the large crowds.
