A Fan of Fans But Not This One I am a fan of fans, especially with the climate we live in near the coast. It rarely gets warm enough to require AC so having ceiing fans is a good idea. And its something that many buyers look for in their home search. Homeowners often have them outdoors, too, on their porches where there are covers, and in outdoor kitchens. This fan was kinda artsy and clever-looking at first glance. And from a distance.  It became clear rather quickly during our home inspection that this fan has some issues. For one, it's an indoor fan, not one made for outdoor weather. See how warped the wood blades are from the moisture? At least they all warped evenly so it looks artsy.
