My WordPress security and anti-malware is pretty strong. Attempted hacks are blocked. For WordPress, there is a free plugin IP Geo Block to block foreign countries.

I speak some Russian and have some Russian language posts on my blog that attract Russian-speaking customers.

Some anti-virus companies are based in Russia and eastern Europe. Kaspersky is based in Moscow. ESET is based in Slovakia.

I was at a technology demonstration using my computer for a mapping issue - when all of a sudden the spelling of the names on the map in my computer (which was of Oregon) changed into something that looked like Russian. Really weird. Hasn't happened again, and the tech guy who looked at my computer was really surprised.
