However, on appointment #2, progress must have been made. On a scale of 1-10, appointent #2 will be an 8. They will be instructed to call one of the preferred lenders to get approval.
Appontment 3 will not occur until I hear from a lender on my recommended list.

Some have talked with a loan officer, but many times they aren't 100% sure they want to use that particular lender. Some will even ask me what I think about the lender they are thinking of using. I did that today for a $800K buyer that was referred by a valued and trusted A+ referral agent friend of mine in Palos Verdes. I never question her referrals they are always top notch and typically $750-$1.2 Million dollar buyers. Your gut will tell you when to bend the rules.
