Paul - I would have to say that I could live without my phone. I don't like working on such a tiny screen, and my computer can do anything my phone can do, faster, and then some.

First off that is kind of a moot question, because with the technology availabe my clients expect me to have both. There is no reason around it. However, I could not really run my business without a computer. I ran a business a long time before I had a smart phone or even a plain old mobile phone. I remember the big old bulky pager that could only do one thing - shake to get me to call the office. Give me the computer.

Computer, lap top, PC or tablet for speed and efficiency, yet, I have a Note 3 that will get me everything I need but not as fast or efficient as a computer.

For me, the computer is more important than my cell phone. I have never advertised my cell number.

Neither I can do without, but I use my smart-phone far more than my computer. I like screening my emails through my phone, and answering them through my computer. My smart-phone helps me manage my social media marketing very well. I do a lot of texting as well.

Dear Paul,
That is like asking if you prefer food or water. You can live longer without food, but eventually, you need some.

I couldn't do business without my computer but my phone, I could get by without that. Did it for a lot of years before cell phones became an extention of my computer. It was a pain finding a phone if I got a page but I managed.

I could do without my computer, with the right cell phone you could do without a computer, your expenses might increase to pay for all the different apps you would need but you would essentially have everything in the plan of your hand

Hmmm...that's a tough question, Paul. I don't think I could function professionally without both. Since I'm primarily a licensed assistant these days, I would say that I'm more dependent on my laptop, than my phone, but some days it's the other way around!

Neither. I could not do business efficiently without both my computer and my smart phone. I don't care what anybody says, a smart phone cannot do all the things that need to be done on a computer to support the real estate business and vice versa.

Neither. Each serves a unique purpose. In our business we need to retain a lot of records due to potential lawsuits. It's difficult to retain some of these files and store them on your phone. It's also difficult to create some marketing pieces on the phone. On the other hand, with SKYPE, you can use your computer to make and receive calls. Paul, I would like to toss that question back to you. Which devise could YOU live without?

I am trying to live without my computer now. Most things I can do on my phone. I've learned to upload photos among other things on my phone. So far so good. I've found it's easier to do things on my phone than it is my tablet, it seems more intuitive.

Paul, this is about like Sophie's Choice. For me it would likely have to be my phone because my reports just could not happen on my phone. I would be whimpering like a 5 year old without either one I am afraid.

Good morning Paul. Not a choice I want to make, as both are equally important to me. If I was in trouble, it would be my phone.

Well my computer doesn't receive calls, so I guess I would have to choose my cell phone. My phone will do what my computer does and I can make calls on it.

Oh, this is a great question here. Well honestly, Paul, I need both. They are both equally important. Definitely Computer first, but I do have to have my Cell Phone at all times for emergencies, should the Computer go down due to a storm...I need my phone at least. I need them both.

My computer is hands down more important since I can't originate a loan from my phone! I try to personalize the process client-to-client as much as possible so I suppose I would have to see if they would have time for an in-person meeting to better get to know one another.
