Starting the Real Estate Career back in 2003 enabled me to enjoy working with people and the flexibility to be with my family.  I am a second generation Realtor, My Mom, Flo Hoffman, started her Real Estate Career back in 1972.  She asked me if I wanted to join her since she knew I loved people and I was working with many people in my graphic arts, sales and customer service positions.   I told her that I would rather have a root canal.  LOL  So with that she said it would be OK to try to go to school and if I did not pass I could do it again or not do it at all.   GUESS what  - I passed with flying colors.  Then I started with Baird & Warner since that was the company she has been with for over 30 years.  I did not have a choice and I am glad that I started with an amazing, ethical, moral, professional Chicago Based  5 year generational family business whow was at the cutting edge of full service Agency. 

I attended many classes, received many certifications and designations. Starting with GRI,  This 3 year certificate recognizing agents for moving on to a Graduate Real Estate Certificate. 

Then I attended an e-PRO certification online course to help me learn all about doing business on the internet. This course is a 50 hour course online.  It must be don in 3 months.

I so enjoy my relationships that I have built with my buyers that I decided to get the ABR Designation.  This means Accreditied Buyers Agent.

then Contiunued on by taking a 10 week course in receiving my Managing Brokers License. This education really honed my business skills. 

After that I had to continue my education by taking courses in Ethics, Law, Designated Agency, etc

Then seing the changing market took the Short Sale Forclosure couse earning me the SFR Designation. 

in 2011 i did an online CDPE course earning me the Certified Distresseed Property Expert Designation. This helps move Short Sales through the system of approval with all the systems and continuing education on the banking industtry, refinancing, mortgage modification etc.  it helps distressed homeowners to move away from foreclosure.
