A lifelong resident of the North Shore, John been a real estate professional since 1977. ("I started when I was 5") - Recognized as among the top 1% of agents in Northern Illinois, he has been involved in the sales of residential properties, new and "green" construction, townhome and condo developments and conversions.
Having founded Lakeshore Partners with partner, Sandra Brown in 1991, we have recently affiliated with Weichert, Realtors, the largest privately-owned real estate company in the U.S.
An avid Northwestern Wildcats fan and veteran of 13 years of coaching gradeschool basketball, Adamson is active in fund-raising with the "Grateful Dads."
Serving as Chairperson for Ethics and Arbitration hearings for multi-board disputes, Adamson has served as Director of the North Shore Board of Realtors and as member of the Evanston Housing Commission.
Having been involved in the re-hab of many residential properties, John has an excellent understanding of construction and assessing not only value, but condition.
