My original lender fell through last minute (1 day before closing escrow!) and just when I thought I had missed out on my home, my agent referred me to Jeff. | Jeff was recommended to me by a good friend that is also a real estate agent after wanting to get an impartial opinion about refinancing my mortgage. My previous lender did not seem all that favorable on the idea for a variety of reasons that only benefited them and Jeff's help ultimately resulted in me making very smart and rational decisions that were best for myself. Even after experiencing a slight hiccup due to VA refinance rules Jeff and the team at First Choice was able to pivot and come up with an alternative strategy that resulted in a refi that lowered my monthly mortgage payment like I wanted. Overall had a great experience, communication on all aspects of the deal were always clear and made sense, and essentially a painless process to get me where I wanted to be! |

| This a long delayed review because I have been knees-deep nesting into my first home! Thanks to Jeff, we were able to pull off one of the quickest escrow periods i have heard of! I found Jeff from high recommendations of my friend/realtor and was never disappointed. I met Jeff in the phone for the first time in the evening over the phone and he had me ready to roll the next day. The other lender would have made me miss my opportunity of a life time. Jeff and my realtor advocated for me which I am convinced helped me win in a sea of incoming bids. Being a first time home buyer, Jeff was willing to assist me and explain all questions and concerns throughout the process... any time of day. When I was confused he was willing to baby-step me through mind-boggling processes! He was very prompt to return my calls. The escrow was amazingly fast (originally 30 days) and he was able to assist in closing 9 days earlier! WOW! And, he is fun to work with. I recommend Jeff and will continue to use him for all my lending needs! |

| I am very happy with Jeff's lending services, he helped us feel really comfortable and confident with handling all the legal documents and mortgage procedures throughout the lending process. Jeff was referred by two of my friends who both bought homes with Jeff at First Choice Loan Services. Jeff is a busy man but he is always there when we need things to be handled. I always feel like Jeff has time for us, no matter how busy he is, he understands and maintains client priorities, consistently handling matters efficiently. As a first time home owner Jeff was patient with me and was happy to repeatedly go over some things I didn't quite understand. | Jeff Welgan, mortgage loan originator extraordinaire! Jeff spends a good deal of time walking me through the loan process so that I have a thorough understanding of what the next steps will be. He tracks mortgage rates in real-time so that he can ‘shop’ the best rates possible. His fees are low and he earned every penny. As the loan process rolls through the various stages, Jeff keeps you updated on the loan status either by a phone call, email or text. I recently closed on my property and could not be happier. Jeff follows up AFTER the sale too. What other lender do you know does that? I would recommend him to anyone that is looking to buy or refinance. |

| Jeff was on the ball, from beginning to end. Our situation definitely wasn't the easiest, as my husband is self-employed. We had previously spoken with other mortgage brokers who lost interest in us quickly after realizing there would be hoops to jump through. Our situation didn't phase Jeff for a second. It took us about a year to find our home and we're so excited to finally be homeowners. We couldn't have done it without Jeff. He was ALWAYS available to talk, even when on vacation. Both our real estate agent and escrow officer couldn't believe how quickly Amerifirst handled everything on their end. I've already passed his business card out to a few friends.
