Throwback Thursdays: Meeting John Le Carre' the year was 2008...I saw the movie " The Spy who came in from the Cold" I had to read the book. Next thing you know is I was hooked. Every Le Carre' book that was published I had to have, and I bought them. In fairness to disclosure did not read all of them but bought them to read them as time permitted.Then he published "A most wanted man" in 2008 and much to my excitement he did a book signing tour and came to Los Angeles.Diane and I loaded up all my books about 15 or more at the time. San Diego County Fair 2024 The San Diego County Fair opens Wednesday June 12, 2024, just a few weeks from now. As one of the nation’s largest fairs, the San Diego County Fair runs through July 7th. Gate hours are 11 am to 10 pm daily Wednesdays through Sundays.
