Before he joined the Mortgage Industry in 2002, Ismael was part of the United States Marine Corps. After serving in the Marines, Ismael entered the Mortgage industry, along with the Discipline, work ethics and leadership skills he gained from the Marine Corps.

Ismael joined Loan Axis, Inc., in 2002 and worked his way up to becoming a Sales Manager. In 2005, Ismael was awarded the "Team Leader Award" in 2005 and 2006 for his outstanding tenacity and discipline. Ismael also received the "Silver Award" in 2005 and then received the "Gold Award" in 2006. In 2008, Ismael joined ERA Regency Realtors, under the office of Art Acosta, in Chino, California. As of 2012 Ismael joine First Mortgage Corporation.
