Left without a wagon and no horse in site.
In 2008, the economic crisis seriously injured the Entertainment Industry, which unfortunately coincided with my decision to stay home with my newborn daughter and young son. Thus, after 15 years in the Entertainment field, when I tried to get back on the wagon, per say, the wagon was parked in a mechanic's shop missing three of its wheels.
What to do?
I'd been dabbling in Real Estate for years, rehabbing and selling off my own properties, so - against other people's better judgement - I went ahead and jumped right in. This time, my timing was perfect, because the Obama tax rebate was giving a dying industry some serious CPR.
What I discovered?
That sometimes you don't always end up where you thought you wanted to be, but instead, in the place you fit best.
And as a Journalist and Imagineer, I may have just the right experience to make Real Estate a whole lot more... entertaining.
