I keep abreast of current market trends and technological advances through events such as Star Power Conferences as well as a number of other seminars and events. I have also been a member of the Realtor Association of Southwestern Illinois' Grievance Committee in the past.

Community Involvement
I have called Monroe County "home" for a little over 28 years. My husband and I own a number of businesses in the community and enjoy being involved with the various parades and community events. An important (and enjoyable!) part of my career is networking throughout the community.
Family & Hobbies
My husband Mark and I have 2 sons, Steven & Eric. Steven, a graduate of McKendree University, is married to Naureen Frierdich (my service manager here at the Linda Frierdich Real Estate Group) and lives here in Columbia. Eric is attending McKendree University, where he plans to major in Physical education and is a member of the varsity soccer team. We spend most of our recreational time at the Lake of the Ozarks, where we fish and boat frequently, or at Eric's soccer games.

Lindsey Bivins has been a licensed Realtor since January of 2003 and obtained her broker's license in September of 2008. Recognized as one of Realtor Magazines's "30 under 30" (one of the top agents under the age of 30 in 2009), Lindsey has learned how to read the market and stay ahead of the curve. Her strengths lie in marketing implementation, understanding buyer and sellers needs, and most importantly, problem solving.
