Get to Know Carole Tam

Bilingual of Chinese Mandarin & English. I have been a real estate broker since 1995. I received my SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist ) designation in 2005 and working toward my CCIM ( Certified Commercial Investment Member) deisignation. My goal is to received my CCIM designation in October, 2007.

I specialized in commercial investment real estate in San Gabriel Valley, California. San Gabriel Valley includes Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia, Rosemead, Temple City, Sierra Madre, El Monte, San Gabriel, Alhambra and Monterey Park. These cities are within 30 minutes drive from Downtown Los Angeles.

The demand is still high in Los Angeles County. The beautiful weather and job opportunities are just some of the reasons that people are attracted to Los Angeles.

Over price listings are not selling. We still see multipule offers on the property if it's the right price. The biggest challenge for me as the Listing Agent is to educate the Seller that it's not like 2005 anymore. Over price listings are just not moving.

On the other hands, Buyers are waiting to see the price to come down. They think the bottom is yet to come.

I expect to work harder and listings will take longer than 3 months to sell. I see the shift and feel the shift in our market.
