I have retired from the mortgage industry, but want to share my knowledge with others in hopes that they can learn that there is more to this industry than just making a quick buck.
Most of my experience is self-taught. When I first started, it was sink or swim. I chose to swim.
I hope to share how one can survive in this industry, especially in the current market situation that the nation is facing. I want to provide my knowledge on how to capture the business that others are desperately grasping for.
My experience goes beyond just doing a mortgage. It goes on to doing the right thing for the client. When financing their home, you are going to be a part of that home for as long as they own it and beyond. My goal was to be a happy part of the home.
Over the years, I did just about every kind of mortgage out there. Although not a big fan of the Option ARMs, I did see the benefits of them for certain individuals and only provided it those individuals for which it was designed for. Every person has a loan that is unique to their situation. The problem is taking the time to listen to the client to determine what that loan is. I hope to help share how one can do this.
Retired Loan Officer. Just looking to share my knowledge and fill my days with meeting new people.
