Lori & Scott Mitchell are established real estate professionals with experience in residential and development sales for over a decade in Summit County. Their success can be attributed to superior customer service and their continued emphasis on technological leadership. The Mitchell's always strive to provide their clients the kind of personal care reflective of their small town origins. The resources available to them through the Slifer Smith & Frampton marketing department and networks provide them with the optimal tools to better serve their clients. Lori & Scott chose to relocate to the Colorado Mountains from Phoenix, Arizona in 1991.
Lori and Scott have watched the Summit County area grow and change over the years. As parents of three children who were raised in Breckenridge, they've been involved with the area and community for a long time in varying aspects. Scott enjoys golfing and scuba diving, while Lori enjoys golfing and biking.
The resort communities of Summit County provide endless opportunities for residents who have a diverse collection of lifestyles. Breckenridge, which is the most populous town, has become a vibrant year-round town with summer and winter recreational activities, a charming main street and exceptional restaurants. Keystone encompasses several villages, numerous ski facilities and a large conference center. Copper Mountain is heaven for snowboarders. Fishermen cast their lines in Silverthorne, Frisco and Dillon, which also have marinas, parks and Nordic facilities right on Dillon Reservoir.
Alma, Fairplay and other communities in Park County offer solitude at its finest. These small, close-knit towns provide a peaceful reprieve from the bustle of tourists to the north. History is an important part of life in Park County and people have the option of stepping back in time when visiting Fairplay, which has restored a portion of the town to look like its original form as a Western mining community. Summit and Park counties also offer excellent economical, educational and recreational opportunities for residents who live in the region, whether part time or full time.

We have had a business relationship with Lori Mitchell of Fuller Sotheby's International Realty for almost 8 years. We first met Lori in July, 2006. We had seen some of her listings on-line and contacted her to help us purchase a vacation condo in Summit County. As most of us do, these days, we first looked on-line to find properties we were interested in and presented Lori with our list a few days prior to the date we were to look at listings. We also provided her with a list of items that were important to us with regard to the property we were hoping to purchase. We met Lori on a Saturday morning to start our search. As the good Realtor she is, she took us to see the listings we asked to see. We were not impressed with any of them. Then she took us to a listing she had chosen in the Salt Lick complex. It was love at first sight! We quickly made an offer, it was accepted and we (and our adult children) enjoyed our mountain condo for the past 8 years. A few weeks ago, we decided it was time to list the condo as we wanted to purchase a place in warmer climate. Because Lori had stayed in touch with us since our initial meeting, we had no hesitation in calling her to help us list our property for sale. We felt Lori's experience and knowledge of the Summit County market was reason enough to list with her. But we also got the added benefit of some very smart business decisions she and her husband have made over the years in that they ran such a successful real estate business that larger companies felt it was a good financial risk for them to partner with the Mitchell's and grow the business even more. This provided Lori with a larger arsenal of marketing tools and, of course, a larger budget with which to market. As we said, all this was a bonus as we already had full confidence in Lori's ability to market and sell our property. The day she listed our property, we received a good strong offer within six hours of it hitting the market. We accepted that offer and closed a little over three weeks later! It is important to note, even though we had an offer and essentially her job was done, Lori still went above and beyond to insure this deal closed. Once the inspection was done, there were a couple of small items that needed to be repaired. Lori not only found the professionals to do the repairs, she booked the repair times and then she went to our condo and waited while the repairs were done. She didn't have to do this but that is the type of service she likes to offer her clients. She is very hands on and likes to make sure she has done everything she possibly can to help you purchase your property or get it sold. Our only regret, now, is we don't have another property to list. But if we did, we wouldn't hesitate to contact Lori again. |

New to property purchase in the USA, we found Lori of Ten Peaks Sotheby's International Realty to be a consummate REALTOR® professional, whom was very much considerate and empathetic towards our requirements and set of circumstances. Without fail, Lori responded directly to and resolved both our direct and indirect worries and concerns regarding property ownership and management in Colorado state. Quite simply she provided a great service, and I will be going back to her when it becomes time to upgrade. |

Buying mountain property can be a challenge because there are different issues that you have to deal with as compared to a metro area. Having a REALTOR® with the expertise and understanding of the area and people is critical to a successful transaction. Lori Mitchell has the local knowledge and contacts to provide her clients with the best information and advice possible. We couldn't have bought our mountain home in Fairplay without her help, and we would highly recommend Lori to anyone looking to buy in the mountains. |

Scott and Lori helped us find our dream vacation home in one day. Scott picked us up in the morning completely prepared with all of the homes that fit our criteria and helped us focus in on the house that was right for us. Following our commitment, he oversaw and helped navigate the inspection, repairs and other issues to get us to closing. It was easier than buying the house in our hometown, Dallas. |

My husband and I live in Illinois and we were interested in purchasing a condo in Colorado ski country. I was searching for a real estate firm on the internet. I came upon Scott and Lori's website and was instantly pleased with the functionality of the website. I had reviewed others and did not find one that made it as simple to view properties by certain qualifications and then to save them in my own favorites… this really made my narrowing down of properties very easy. Being from out-of-town, that was very important. I needed to be very organized in order to make my trip to Colorado to tour properties productive. Then I began speaking with Lori directly after several months of narrowing down the properties. Lori was very knowledgeable and helpful. I needed to work with someone like Lori because I was an inexperienced rental property buyer. She helped me to choose the right area in Colorado's large ski country among sorting out several other questions that I had. I flew out for a quick weekend and with Lori's help was able to purchase a terrific condo in Keystone the same Sunday. I was very much at ease spending 1 1/2 days with Lori viewing properties because of her easygoing and friendly personality. I would recommend them… a very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly real estate firm. |

Just a note to express our appreciation for the great work done by Scott and Lori Mitchell. We have sold two condos and bought two condos through Scott and Lori in Summit County, Colorado. We found them to be very honest, responsive and great communicators. Most importantly, to us, is that they LISTENED to what we said. They showed us what we asked to see, not what they wanted to sell. We believe that property in Summit County will appreciate in value. If you are serious about investing in the Colorado mountains, call Scott and Lori for great service. |
We strive to provide our clients the personal care reflective of our small town origins while maximizing the Slifer Smith & Frampton marketing department and networks to provide maximum exposure.
