My name is Dan Berry and I am the president of Howard & Friends Inc. in Salt Lake City. For those of you who are not familar with Howard & Friends it was the 1st real estate contact management system on the market back in 1982.  We purchased the company in 1996 and took the DOS program into Windows.  Some of our other realestate specific products include Star Contact, CMA Plus, Money Magic and our newest edition called Rapid Response.  We have currently rewritten Star Contact and will soon introduce Agent's 1st Choice to the real estae community. 

As a real estate broker for the past 17 years and software developer I think I have a unique perspective on the development and use of software solutions for the real estate industry. With my entire family in the real estate industry I have sought to develop not just good products but great products that work, like we work.  It is not enough to simply design software from the developers perspective but to design software from the agent's point of view.  In a nutshell I write software so that my wife will stop asking me how to do something for her on he computer.  As real estate agents I think you should spend more time with your clients and less time on the computer, so we try to develop software that does just that.
