Make a Wish Flowers for Mom Dandelions are looked upon as weeds, holding little to no worth for most adults. They do increase immensely in value when freshly picked from the yard and hand delivered between the tiny fingers of a small child.  For a mom, that little gesture can make it the most beautiful gift in the entire world due to the clear intention and sincere affection. Like a dandelion's wispery seeds as they quickly take flight, those moments are fleeting.  Make a wish and grab as many as you can before they're out of reach. Happy Mother's Day!

I'd Rather Gather in Nerdin Gardens The back yard garden is a favorite place for us to visit. From the planted rows to soothing water features to the shade provided by the evergreens, it invites all to enjoy. That also includes our precious GBabies. Peanut the Pup is our first GBaby girl. While Kenslee blew her first bubbles, Peanut, the pup, popped them just as quick, which, in turn, caused raucous giggles, producing even more bubbles and laughter! This Gma's spirits soar on days like this! Happy Friday all, no troubles here in Nerdin Gardens. Just bubbles!

When does MONEY come before WORK? Why, in the dictionary, of course! There might be a few exceptions, like; a hefty fortune left to a loved one, winning the state lottery or a financial gain by ill-gotten activities. Despite the promises of being given everything right now, by the powers that be, nothing is FREE. Nothing! Someone else always pays the price. Entitled, lazy people are singularly self-absorbed. Their view of the world is all me-me and less for everyone else with little regard or empathy for their impact on others. That type of behavior comes with every profession, walk of life and my opinion is based on past work experiences. Earning a living is much different than collecting a paycheck for little or no effort. Back, before becoming an agent, I remember when the company ow...

A Silent Preyer in Nerdin Gardens A tiny, newly hatched praying mantis hung upside down beneath a daisy bloom for a short time, before suddenly becoming very hungry. "Should I dare to wander?"The prayer began to ponder.By remaining hidden under here,All hope of survival may soon disappear. So, after bravely venturing out and about,Unsuspecting insects scattered fast to re-route! In order to achieve a comfortable life, showing up diligently to perform is a requirement. When depending on others to provide results, everything delivered may be subpar or you end with nothing. What then? Venture out, take control over your life. Humans are meant to thrive by self-motivation but often fall short. Nature performs instinctively because survival depends entirely on an, 'on time, every time', work ...

May the Fourth Be With You When Achieving Goals! Nature consistently pushes forward, whether it is a beautiful Monarch Butterfly collecting pollen, before moving on to a final destination or a grape vine tendril, reaching out, securing a connection, ensuring fruition. It could be a newly hatched praying mantis pod, where 100's of tiny creatures instinctively forage for food. Many will perish to the elements, be eaten by birds or other prey, others will be successful in their efforts. Heartiness matters when surviving outside during springtime. Impediments can present, hindering progress, so quickly adapting and adjusting is necessary to fulfill set goals. No excuses, just the desire to succeed. If real estate professionals had such a focused mindset to perform like nature, all agents wo...

You harvest what you sow in life. Never have given thought to being owed something that wasn't earned. Mine has been a life, where the work was taken on, dutifully performed and accomplished because clients depended on the end results. In business and life in general, much thought should be given, prior to making choices and the intended consequences. Good decisions can lead to many, endless rewards. Bad ones, teach very important lessons. Bad decisions create: Immoral actions Deceptive practices Corruptive ways of thinking Marital problems and divorce Self-imposed financial difficulties They also bring about ill-gotten goods, regret, anxiety, suspect behavior, self-entitlement, bitterness, discontent and encourages bad memories. Good decisions create: High self-esteem Uplifted confiden...

When the tree falls, the monkeys scatter. Mortgage lenders place a high importance on pre-qualifying potential home buyers. All collected information goes toward verifying responsible spending habits, on time payments, determining purchase power. Serious consumers are ready to go, others may need more time or credit repair due to a multitude of reasons. The pre-approval process calls out pretenders that pull everyone in with zero intentions of getting to a satisfied conclusion. Though stringent, a few manage to still sneak through. Sincerity to follow through on the promise to perform means everyone can trust the series of actions. If there is unrealistic expectations or dishonest motives, each person is adversely affected, except the guilty party. When a transaction fails, it takes on ...

Setting the Stage by Checking your Voice Message. Impressions matter greatly, as we all know. Ensuring that first point of contact is engaging can make the difference between a new working relationship or encouraging the caller to move on to someone else. Here's some advice: Check your voicemail message  Discern your intended audience  Know the purpose for the message Tell them what is wished to convey Be sure the message is helpful to all  The recording can be quirky to match a personality or more on the reserved side for a more serious approach. No matter what is decided, make it concise and clear with the overall intended message, not garbled.  Past clients already know your purpose because they have used your services. If the intent is to attract new business, let your voice speak a...

We wet our plants! Today, on Earth Day, we are planting the garden to please Mother Nature. Soon, the honey bees and bumble bees will make a soft landing, pollinating all blooms to ensure a productive end result, through fruition. Maximum efforts with realistic expectations and consistent methods create a thriving environment, much like in business. While we are unable to control the weather, we can get up and show up every day.  And wet our plants if we want to!  Happy Earth Day all.

Do what you do. Get what you get. Repeat business depends on consistent standards, also requiring a bit of an insane work ethic. Some advice for those thinking of becoming an agent: Be realistic prior to spending the time, effort & money on getting a real estate license, especially if the foremost expectation is instant income. You will be quickly disappointed! Many new to the industry give up easily because the returns are not immediate. It is common among new agents who lack patience, to put minimal effort toward business, while expecting immediate gratification. When starting out, early efforts may not be rewarded, so it becomes important to: Implement processes and procedures create a viable marketing & advertising plan and set achievable sales goals that benefit clients  Tenacity p...

Oops, I did it again in Southern Utah! Was excited to get the call from a past client who was looking for a new home that would serve their blended family well. We arranged to meet, thoroughly discussed wants and needs and quickly got to work! Trust and familiarity both work in the favor of everyone involved, especially when everything depends on all of us to do our intended parts to ensure success. After several looks, we finally found THE ONE! Going under contract, getting the home inspection done, taking on lender underwriting and declaring the property free and clear of clouds or liens was tackled aggressively by affiliate professionals. One of the best feelings in business, is finding a home that serves buyers well for many years to come. They recorded yesterday with smiles all aro...
