Navigating Los Angeles real estate listings can be quite a challenge. If you are not settled on a particular neighborhood already, you will find that there are many “pockets” in the myriad of neighborhoods in the San Fernando Valley that offer great homes, great lifestyles and great opportunities.

I have been selling real estate in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley areas for over ten years. With this experience comes an intimate knowledge of the many specific aspects people look for when they purchase a home. I can help you to find the most desirable areas to live, or the most affordable, or tell you what neighborhoods are up-and-coming, what are the most luxurious, and a host of other lifestyle interests that people consider when embarking on one of the single biggest purchases of their life.

My connection to the community serves my clients in that I am always aware of what changes the San Fernando Valley neighborhoods are going through, what kinds of things are happening that may directly affect home prices, and I can be one of the first to know when someone is considering selling their property.

Most people start their search for a home online and they will choose to be represented in one of the biggest purchases of their lives by the first person that calls them back. While this is an important quality of an agent - prompt response - there are many other things you should be looking for in your real estate agent.

As a matter of fact The California Association of Realtors® surveyed home buyers and here’s what you said you want from your agent:

-        A better understanding of the direction of the market

-        An improvement in the agent’s negotiation skills, 82% were dissatisfied

-        More assistance in the mortgage approval process

-        A good understanding of purchasing distressed properties

-        A faster response time from the agent

Here’s where I come in. As an agent in The Valley for over ten years, I have been a part of vast market fluctuations. While no one can actually predict the direction of the market there are pretty good indicators to agents who are actively selling properties.

Having negotiated millions of dollars worth of real estate deals, I'm tough when I need to be and with this vast experience, I understand the things you should absolutely fight for and the things you should try to let go.

As a former mortgage broker, I can answer just about any question you may have about getting a mortgage. Most real estate agents will defer to the lenders to give their buyers advice, but I stay in close contact with my buyer’s lender so that I know what’s going on every step of the way.

As the current market has trended toward an offering of more and more distressed properties, you want an agent who knows how to work with an entity - the bank - as well as with a typical seller. I have closed many bank-owned and short sale properties and can help you if you should fall in love with one of these homes.

The best thing I can offer you is my time and a respect for your time and the urgency you feel when you are in this process. Promptness and transparency are what you can expect from me with regard to information.
