Get to Know Michele Brown
Michele began her real estate career in Dallas, Texas about 25 years ago. In 1992 she obtained a California Real Estate license and expanded her real estate business to the South Bay, opening a relocation company in Redondo Beach, selling and leasing single family homes, town homes and apartments. Her company provided real estate relocation services to many local south bay companies including Cheesecake Factory, Nissan and Toyota executive management personnel, as well as Kaiser physicians, nurses and management staff. Prior to joining Keller Williams Realty West she was the Regional Vice President for the nations 3rd largest realty & investment management firm, where she was responsible for the performance of properties in Los Angeles, Ventura and Orange Counties. In the first quarter of 2006 Michele and her team managed the acquisition of 1331 fee managed multifamily units in the first quarter of 2006, at a purchase price of $166,250,000. During her Real Estate career Michele came to specialize in the sales and leasing of multifamily property, ranging in size from 1183 units on 45 acres to 4 unit buildings, single family rental property and tax credit senior housing. Her experience also includes construction management for new apartment construction and other major renovation projects, providing annual budgets, monthly and quarterly financial reports, variance reports and executive summaries regarding the daily management of the real estate, and performance summaries that reflected her teams efforts to improve the value of the assets and increase revenues.
