  Located off of Kelly Mill Road on Bombing Range in Northeast Columbia, SC you can find an impeccably well maintained gem of the Richland County Recreation Commission known as the Kelly Mill Sports Complex. There's a great playground, 3 baseball fields, and a large multipurpose field for soccer, football, or whatever else you might like to do to enjoy the great outdoors and get some fresh air.   If you happen to be something of a history buff like I am, then there is no shortage of places for you to visit throughout Columbia, SC and the surrounding areas. Just 40 minutes outside of downtown Columbia in the town of Camden, is the Camden Revolutionary War Site. A wonderful piece of history sitting on 106 acres where 100's died in Revolutionary War. Arguably the center piece for the grounds in the Kershaw-Cornwallis house that proudly overlooks the rest of the site.  This picture of Monkey and Bug was taken over the Summer on a day trip to Landsford Canal State Park along the Catawba River. This walkway which is a small portion of the trail that makes a loop around the lake at Sesquicentennial State Park in Northeast Columbia, SC has always been one of my favorite parts of the park. Once again he was paired with fellow students from Freeway Music and this time they performed Billie Jean from Micheal Jackson.  While on an otherwise peaceful stroll around the the lake in Lake Carolina I came across this girl relaxing in the middle of the path. She didn't seem very impressed with me and even turned and came in my direction for a second or two. Given the fact that she was obviously there first I choose a different path as she made her way down to the water.
