Ice on the Hudson River  I love taking photos from a moving train especially of the Hudson Valley.  This particular scene was from the beacon NY area.  It was a bit overcast however I could still see the snow and ice on the Hudson River.  I even manged to get a slight view of the train tracks. If you ever visit the region a ride on the Mertro-North Hudson line or the Amtrak is vey scenic.   Just My Photos ~ Beacon Falls at Sunset Sundays Speechless Beacon New York A walk in the Town of Beacon by the falls is a favorite spot of mine for taking photos. So close to my home in Newburgh NY, I come here frequently. I’m sure the reason is quite obvious. Recently a new restaurant opened that overlooks this view. I will need to try that one in the future. And I thought we would not have any snow until February.  I can take the cold temperatures but can't stand the snow.  There was a time when it didn't matter. Don't know what changed but, something did. Anyway, no choice but to go with the flow. I took a picture of the first snow fall. Hope the rest of the snow falls will be like this one. (SOLD) 3-Level Townhouse, Beacon, NY 12508 FHA Requirement on Rent to Purchase Properties, Beacon NY   FHA Requirement on Rent to Own Properties, Beacon NY.  Little did we know there would be an issue with the FHA Loan based on requirements for a short term rental turned into a home purchase.  FHA requires, that a 'tenant' must occupy the home they intend to purchase a minimum of 6 months before they can sign contracts.  We found this out almost 6 weeks into the loan processing, we were about to close...and the ball dropped.  Not the "Times Square Ball", one would look forward to it's fall, but the "other" ball dropped, silently but smelly; like a small explosion.  Sorry about the reference to scents, but it wasn't of the 'silent but deadly' level, so I couldnt' use that phrase.
