Keep Fire Hydrants Clear After Snow Storms! With all the snow we’ve gotten in such a short span of time, it’s been tough trying to keep up with it and keep our driveways and sidewalks clear. But we’ve all done a pretty good job of it, even to the point of neighbors helping out neighbors who may be incapacitated by injury or illness by doing the shoveling and snow blowing for them.   Quinnipiac Chamber Business After Hours - Jersey Boys.  Business After Hours events are a great way to make new business contacts and stay connected with existing contacts.  The Quinnipiac and North Haven Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event on Tuesday, February 3rd will be an excellent opportunity to do some networking, and get to see an amazing musical, The Jersey Boys. Our Favorite Wallingford CT Christmas Displays Wow, is time passing fast in the last two months of the year! It seems like just yesterday that we were eating turkey in every conceivable form and now here it is almost a full week deep into December! And that feeling is in the air, too; there was frost on the car windows this morning, the temps are barely making it out of the 30's even when it's sunny, and the sky takes on that battleship gray tone that says it could snow any minute. There's currently not any snow on the ground, but that hasn't deterred people from putting up their Christmas displays, that's for sure!   The Wallingford Symphony is kicking off the holiday season early with the  Wallingford Symphony Orchestra Annual Holiday Concert.  I love holiday music and the songs listed on the flyer above are among some of my favorites. The Paul Mellon Arts Center at Choate Rosemary Hall is a excellent facility for a concert, and very easy to get to.  To top it off Wallingford Symphony Orchestra Annual Holiday Concert is on a Sunday afternoon so it should be easy to fit into my schedule. Wallingford Fire Displaces 22 Residents, Gift Cards Needed Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny day in Wallingford for most of us. However, for 22 of our fellow residents, the day was far from pleasant. A fire at a three family home on South Whittlesey Avenue which started just before 8AM Friday morning caused extensive damage to the third floor and the residents of all three apartments are now without a place to stay and have lost much, if not all, of their belongings. Wallingford Seasons of Celebration 2014 If anyone had any doubts about whether or not the holidays have arrived, let me put them to rest. Of course, Thanksgiving will soon be here in all it’s basted, browned, bubbly glory, and the holiday craft fairs are in full swing.
