As I walked into the courtyard I noticed a small puddle of water. The puddle was very still and mirror like. It reflected the tall trees of our garden. It was a moment of silent contemplation of the beauty of this small puddle of water when I noticed there was a very small frog in the puddle. He was ever so small and hardly noticeable at all. The frog was brown with little spots of black and green splotches. He sat motionless and it occurred to me that he was one with the silence of the puddle. Both of such a still nature reflecting life all around them in silence. I enjoyed my time with the puddle and the frog. I entered the house to continue with my day. The North State is known for the town and the Majestic Mount Shasta. It is a striking and beautiful mountain. As part of the Cascade Range, this Majestic Mountain lays claim to a vast and beautiful area. Long known to be a powerful spiritual and healing place, people have journeyed to visit the Mountain to heal, pray and worship in organic and beautiful ways. We spent six weeks visiting India at the end of 2005. We had just relocated to the North State. We had been in Monterey County in Salinas selling real estate for Norm Yop in his Monte Bella office. We hated to leave but I knew that the market would adjust and we wanted to be near the wilderness areas. Realtors find it hard to disappear for 2 months and so I knew that in transitioning markets that we had a opportunity to take a long dreamed of trip to India.
