Live Oak Canyon | Great Day Hike Near Rancho Santa Margarita Yesterday was a beautiful day for a hike. I love to access the miles of local trails near Rancho Santa Margarita, California. It's so close and easy to get to. Live Oak Canyon was my destination yesterday morning.   I parked my car on Celeste and walked to the end of Altisima where you can pick up the trail. Walking to the top of the hill, there is there are 3 different trails to pick from....I like to go to the left because the trail varies from uphill to downhill.
