In today's Arizona Republic was an article about the last of the large pieces of farm land in the San Tan Valley / Queen Creek Arizona area giving way to growth and development. A new development called Barney Farms is planned. Let's hope for success for them. As the real estate market has changed from the boom years, there are other plots of farm land in the area that once were flourishing beautiful and tasty crops that were taken over by developers and then before completion the developers fell on hard times - leaving now dead sections of trees and plants and entire grape vineyards.
