Yes I hire a licensed drone pilot.

You do not need an FAA pilot's license under 300 feet, but you are required to pass a course and get certified in CA. 

I've yet to have a house that justifies it.  I'd hire a buddy of mine with a drone to do the video.

Burns me up that the commies in DC feel that we need a license to do this for business, yet the kid who wants to spy on the neighbor girl does not need a license.

Our company requires for agents using drone companies to have a valid FAA licensed to operate and meets all govermental requirements for your local area.

I haven't yet because most of my listings are in a master planned community but on a couple coming up I may give it a shot because the back to greenbelts.

Rarely... not licensed and have no intention to be. If I deem aerial photography is necessary for a specific home, I hire a professional.

We have a Phantom 4 DJI Drone. Between now and Spring, it will be licensed and I will be taking my Form 104 test by then also.

I do use aerial photography if the property warrants it.    My professional photographer has this product, and they are licensed.

I do not but it's a great thing, particularly for larger properties like farm and ranch. I'm disgusted that the federal government is even regulating this.

Most of my listings are in subdivisions with very small lots and aerial photography would be detrimental by showing how close the adjoining houses are.

No I haven't used aerial photography yet. I think this is going to be a new and lucrative business in most markets.

FAA regulations do NOT apply in our great nation.  However, Transport Canada regulations do apply.

we do use aerial photography for our subdivisions.... and eric does the photography.... 

We hire a professional photographer who has his license.

I have not yet used drone photography. If the need arises I will hire it out.

I leave it up to the experts so that I can have more free time for my clients.

Our clients use an FAA licensed pilot/photographer to do so.  It may cost more, but it eliminates headaches like broken picture windows, etc   A

Our market is so hot there is no need for that extra expense.

I haven't used it yet but have a local videograhper who also does drone work and it's quite good

We'll hire a credentialed photographer for the appropriate listings.  For most properties where some extra elevation to the camera is helpful I use a "stick" that will get the camera up to about 12' above the ground; more if a step-ladder is employed.

However, going beyond listings, I'd like to put together some aerial photography for general/neighborhood marketing; where the video will have value long after the listing has run its course.

If I had a listing where droning would benefit, I would drone....As to hiring a pro? If I knew of a kid who was good with remotes, that be my first stop

Yes I use drone photography when appropriate. Did a blog on this last year. My nephew does my photography and is up on all the latest rules & regs.

The photography company I utilize is licenesed and does offer aerial (drone) photography if I need to utilize it. 

Just bought second drone, FAA sticker to fly was free in beginning when registering in Dec 2015 and only $5 for new drone bird in the sky with the eye. Valid for 3 years. Newest one nicknamed Sputnik.

The office Broker has one that I fly better than he does; and will be certifying in March. Love the pics on waterfront and larger properties.

Yes, if the listing warrants and aerial view - on a golf course, water, out in the country, I'll have my photographer shoot it. They are licensed to use a drone.
