What is more important... blood or oxygen? You can't pick just one. They are all important. It's all about loyalty to your clients best interests... not your own.

All of them are equally important and have to be given to the client. You cannot pick and choose which ones to offer.

Heather, which of the 10 Commandments is the most important? Which of the state's laws are the most important? If you have kids, which of them is your favorite (when asked by your not so favorite child)? Answer: All of them are!

The best explanation I ever heard about what is conflict of interest is that it happens when someone is wearing two hats at the same time, and they are in competition.
A fiduciary duty is a trust...not to be in a conflict of interest with respect to that duty. Ever. (my definition)
How does it get maintained? At bottom, with deep self respect.
