I never did.... had too much new construction going on to bother with it.... but my daughter is a hound dog when it comes to making sure she has a testimonial from clients....she puts them on her facebook and on her profile for AR.... she also has printed pages with those blurbs in her pre-listing presentation binder.... she leaves a binder for the homeowner to have.... they read them...

If you never ask itiu will never receive. I am starting to make it a point to ask for both testimonials and referrals during and right after a closing .

I've just recently discovered the site realsatisfied.com (I have no affiliation) that is good for getting client testimonials and then posting to your various social media sites. I just signed up so have no feedback yet but worth checking out!

Virtual Realty Consultants Yes, I do ask for testimonials. I have a form and a release I ask them to fill out. The release give me permission to use the testimonial in the media.

I ask for testimonials sometimes if I remember. On some of the websites they ask you to sign up so I think that is a hindrance for some clients. I am not sure about the realtor.com information. Most of my leads come from other sources.

Yes, I do and virtually all of my clients respond. I ask them to post on Zillow or Trulia. I transfer that information to realtor.com. I also do videos of my testimonials.

No I no longer ask for testimonials. I agree that many testimonials and reviews are not real and therefore I believe no stock should be placed in them.

We try to get them, but it's always challenging to get customers to follow through. I'm not an agent, so my areas are different. Most important one is Angie's List, followed by google, followed by yelp (this is in terms of where the leads come in and where my customers tell me they have checked before they meet w/ me. We also have a spot on our website where they can leave them. We are now starting to focus on getting some on our FB page.
Customers tend to trust 3rd party sites more than your own site (obviously).

Good morning. I do not ask for testimonials mainly for the reason you just posted.

Good morning. I never ask for testimonials at the end of a completed transaction, always in the beginning or middle.
