I wish I had that crystal ball.

Prospective home buyers are better to assume that mortgage rates will be rising. It is safer to take advantage of the current low rates rather than taking the chance that they will be available in the future.

They keep threatening and I wouldn't be surprised. But as John McCormack said -- I don't have that crystal ball either.

Perhaps but there are several other economic indicators that might accelerate, or postpone an increase.

I wouldnt think so, because mortgage starts will have to be up for them to want to raise rates and so far they are not. I would think next spring. However getting ever closer to an election, they wont want to raise them when the election heats up.

My crystal ball is in the shop -- I don't predict and definitely not anything to do with the FED.

A couple of months ago they were saying it would happen in June, now they're saying September.  I don't think it'll happen until October or November.

YES!..WE need investors that have some money to be able to get a little return in order to promote more saving and investments.

I believe it will be later and hope my prediction holds true. The foundation seems a little wobbly yet to consider anything drastic.

I thought they would have raised them by now, only a matter of time.

Rumor has it the rate will increase in the 3rd quarter.
