What is the frequency of your drip emails to your database?

I do it once a month and I get very few opt-outs with a high open rate, but I'm thinking of moving it up to every three weeks.

I have my database in categories and do different drips to each. After the first 2 months the most frequent is weekly (for those actively looking) and least frequent is quarterly (old clients and inactives).

For the first month someone is on the list I do 2 emails a week, after that it goes to once a week for the next 2 month and after they have been on the list for 3 month one email every 2 weeks.
