The first time I was referred to as a "salesperson," I was so surprised. I consider myself an advocate for my client, an adviser, a knowledgeable representative, a negotiator, and a guide. I don't consider myself a salesperson. As a REALTOR, Broker and Owner of Lamprey River Real Estate and an Accredited Buyer Representative as well as a Real Estate Paralegal, I offer my experience and education as a guide to help make the buying process a simple one. I love what I do and, after all these years, still get excited when my clients are handed the keys to their new home!
I take a team approach in helping you choose your new home. Your buying team consists of you, your REALTOR, your Mortgage Broker, your Home Inspector, and Home Appraiser. When we all work together, and in your best interest, the process goes smoothly and is certainly less stressful.
I hold the designation of Accredited Buyer Representative, which is obtained through education and experience, and specialize in working with buyers. I am also a member of The National Association of REALTORS, New Hampshire Association of REALTORS, and the Granite State South Board of REALTORS, as well as the Exeter Chamber of Commerce and the New Hampshire Better Business Bureau.
When you see a house listed for sale. The company named on that for sale sign represents the seller and is working in the best interest of the seller. You should not have to share that company and their representation with the buyer: you are entitiled to your own adviser and advocate. It evens out the field during offers, counter offers, negotiations, and home inspection reactions.
Purchasing a home is one of life's most expensive investments. You should work with a Realtor. My best advice is never to rush and don't let anyone rush you into a decision. This is a decision you will live with for many years. If you need to look at 100 houses and it takes a year, then that is the right pace for you.
