Get to know Daniel Newbill
Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Dan was educated at Punahou High School (President Obamas high school) where he graduated in 1983. He then continued his education receiving undergraduated degrees from both Colorado State University and Hawaii Pacific University where he graduated Cum Laude. After Pursuing a year in graduate study in Anesthesia he realized that Medicine was not everything he wanted out of life and made a drastic and fulfilling career move.
Joining Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties in 2000 he set a goal of becoming the rookie of the year and went on to achieve this goal as well as many other awards. Dan was designated a Previews Luxury Property Team Member and Specialist at Coldwell Banker and then went on to become Real Estate Sales Director at Optimum Realty where he obtained the wholy Grail of Real Estate designations by becoming a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and received the coveted Million Dollar Guild designation. He is also a member of the Honolulu CCIM chapter and FIABCI the International Real Estate Federation. He is currently working on his first large scale international deal in Fiji where he is co-brokering a fee simple 110 acre beach front resort deal.
He is a member of the Punahou Alumni Fundraising Team, The Elks club chapter 616, Former Kaneohe Neighborhood Board Member, Volunteer at the Hawaii Humane Society, member of the Hawaii Harlequins Rugby club, member of Team Jet Triathlon Training Team and member of the Waikiki Beach Boys Outrigger Canoe Club. He enjoys Surfing and also International Travel when he is not serving his clients in Paradise.
