Lizzy Walker Conroy is the lead associate agent for the Huckaby Briscoe Group. Lizzy attended Georgetown University where she received her BA in economics. Lizzy has served in a number of professional capacities in the Washington, DC area - first with the international trade group of Hogan & Hartson LLP, then as a marketing manager with MicroStrategy of McLean, VA. She also held business development positions with Kalmia Construction, a Maryland-based commercial construction company, and Newmark LLC, a New York City-based commercial real estate firm. Lizzy is the 2005 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society National Woman of the Year and currently serves on the Society's Board of Trustees and leadership committee for the Man & Woman of the Year campaign which raises over $900,000 annually. She is actively involved in fundraising efforts for the International Youth Foundation (www.iyfnet.org) and is a devoted member of her church, Trinity United Methodist in McLean. She is a member of Riverbend Golf & Country Club, Great Falls, VA. She and her husband, Steve, live in McLean, Virginia with their two young children, Emery and Steven Jr.

I have lived in Northern Virginia for 13 years and in McLean nearly 10 years. I am very familiar with the McLean community and understand the pros and cons of the neighborhoods, schools, and type of property. An economics major, I follow domestic and global financial markets everyday and understand the impact they have on the local real estate markets. I am also a Certified Home Rescue expert who can counsel home sellers in distressed situations and connect them to the right resources.
