Edisto is a place hidden from the millions of people, condos and golf courses that have ruined our northern SC coast.  Edisto is a place for families and oyster roasts, not malls and traffic.  You will not find a traffic light for 25 miles.  You can live at your pace.  Sooner or later, with Edisto Island Real Estate you will get slowed down to ours.  Time seems to stop here.  Trade in your calendar for a tide chart and your blackberry for a GPS.  All you need to remember is keep the boat full of gas.  We "beach it" in the summer, shrimp in the fall, hunt when it's cold, and fish all year long.
