I am an experienced Realtor with Easy Street Realty and backed by a team of highly trained professionals. Working with the Easy Street Realty Team gives me the opportunity to help people "Make Their Real Estate Dreams Come True!" anywhere, in Henderson, Las Vegas, the USA and points around the world.
My team and I work with both buyers and sellers, with a focus on residential buyers and sellers, affluent singles, relocation buyers and sellers, couples and families exploring upscale properties, empty nesters and retirees seeking housing that is more manageable. The markets I specialize in are Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada.
When we list a home for sale, we provide our client with a detailed market analysis indicating an asking price range in line with recent sales in the area. "Pricing" is the most important factor in the sales equation. If you ask too much, the house will stay on the market and buyers will use it to compare competing properties, which of course, will be more attractive to them. If we price it too low, we do a disservice to our seller. We also give candid opinions of the condition of the property, suggesting work that needs to be done before a property is put on the market. We want sellers to see their homes through the eyes of the buyer, a vantage point that is extremely valuable.
The second most important part of our relationship in the selling and buying process is the communication between you and us, your real estate team. It is our job to keep you informed through every step of the transaction so you understand the process for a smooth and enjoyable selling or buying adventure.
I belong to our local, state and national REALTORS® organizations.
Personally, I enjoy ballroom and country dancing, traveling, golf, fishing and spending time with my family and friends. I am a firm believer in the value of education. I continue studies in order to be of greater benefit to my clients. I study marketing methods, real estate practices and current trends in the market so that I can provide comprehensive services to my clients. I always insist that my buyer’s enter into a buyer broker agreement and be pre-approved by a lender before we begin house hunting. There are distinct advantages to starting the loan process early. The buyer is in a better position to negotiate, having already been approved for a loan. Also, sellers are reassured the transaction will not collapse over a financing contingency. Everyone wins when buyers see a lender before they see the first house.

Our family was being transferred to a new city and we were introduced to Al. We liked him from the start. He listened to what we were looking for and provided us all the information (websites, school info, maps, community info, etc.) we needed to begin researching the area and homes available. Al was always prompt in returning calls and answering questions for us and offering his help in any way he could. He provided details on the properties we were interested in so we could narrow the list prior to making the house-hunting trip from our old comunity to our new. We always felt that Al had our best interests at heart throughout the process and it seemed as if we were his only customers (although I know he was busy!). He made a very stressful situation much easier for us and we feel that we have gained a friend in the community in Al.
About us: We are Matt and Susan Carlson and we have 2 children- 6 yr. old, Alyssa and 2 yr old, Braden. We moved to Ankeny after living in Burlington, IA for 8 years. Matt is a Claim Rep for State Farm Ins., and Susan in a registered dietitian. We were looking for a community that was friendly and progressive with good schools and lots of recreational opportunities.
