In May 2016 I wrote a post on "You Can Buy This Entire Town in West Virginia". Yes, Sugar Grove Station, the former U.S. Naval Information Operations Center support base in Pendleton County, WV, has been sold!   This former U.S. Navy base consists of 122 acres with 80 homes, a baseball diamond, a pre-school, a fire station, a gymnasium and a bowling alley....   Robert Pike, the man who made the highest bid for Sugar Grove Station at $4,010,009.90, is going to repurpose the former naval base into a healthcare campus.                                                      I have been traveling through Smoke Hole and Seneca Rocks for over 23 years now.  This is the route I take home when going to visit family and friends.  It never ceases to amaze me what a beautiful area this really is.  When my girls were little we always stopped at the Smoke Hole Caverns gift shop to stretch our legs and get some refreshments.
