Seattle Area Snowfall The weather forecasted rain on the way to Western Washington with increased warming but there still were plenty of snowflakes over Mountlake Terrace the day after Christmas as you'll see in the video below. Amorn Thai:  Mountlake Terrace should thank their lucky stars that this place moved in: WOW!!!!  This is one of the best Thai places I have had the pleasure of eating at and I amke it a regular now as a result.  I am spreading the word:  Amorn Thai is the bomb!  Check it out the next time you are passing thru - it is only about a mile off I-5 from the Mountlake Terrace 236th St Exit, take a left on 56th and Amorn Thai is on the left past Roger's Grocery. The Mountlake Terrace Library... Mountlake Terrace WA is already one of the best Northern Seattle suburb commutes and its new transit center will be envied by all suburbs around, but Sound Transit has finally decided to put to the ballot a vote  that would bring LINK Light Rail from Northgate to Lynnwood - with a stop along the way in Mountlake Terrace!  This in combination with Mountlake Terrace's downtown revitalization?  Better consider Mountlake Terrace when considering relocation to the Seattle suburbs... Seattle suburbs real estate:  Mountlake Terrace Short Sale Condo: Short sales take forever - anyone selling houses these days should have a pretty good idea of what they are getting into when they buy a short sale.  I was thrilled that my latest short sale closed in less than three weeks from offer to close!  LESS THAN THREE WEEKS!!!!  A quick short sale?  It CAN happen! There were a few tricks I used in getting this one to close quickly.  The condo is in the Seattle suburb of Mountlake Terrace - Pricing on it was extremely competitive and a good deal for the buyer.  Having comps ready for the bank when submitting the offer is vital.  Having your buyer's lender on standby is also a huge factor!  In this particular case we were able to close the sale just about a week before foreclosure ... 07/28/2008

I have a new listing in Mountlake Terrace and I thought I would share the numbers.   Mountlake Terrace is a great little community.  It sits just over the Snohomish County line, north of Shoreline.  It has great access to Seattle and Everett. One of my favorite things about Mountlake Terrace is that once a year the city puts on the annual garage sale.  This weekend, you can literally drive around to hundreds of garage sales!  It is quite the neighborhood thing to do, too - The city encourages clean up by allowing garage sales all weekend without a permit and people come out for this event!  After all the garage sales are over, Waste Management picks up UNLIMITED trash from their customers on trash day.  What a great way to clean up the city and allow some of those old things not needed anymore to be reused! Yep - The Park and Ride closed in December! There are amazing things happening with the Mountlake Terrace Park in Ride.. Construction is underway on a new four story five level parking facility in the lower level of the current Park N Ride.  The upper lot is being renovated to add additional parking as well.  The result will be a capacity for 890 cars which is about double of what the two lots together can take currently!
