The ticket was purchased at a Quick Mart Store in League City by a regular customer who purchased $20 worth of tickets.  Someone called the store around 10:30pm  and said they were the winner, and clerk thought it was a hoax.  The store owner, Mohammad Rahman, will get 1% of the jackpot for selling the winning ticket.   The Bay Area Toros are a future team of the Continental Baseball League, to be based in League City, Texas. The team will not be affilitated with Major or Minor League Baseball. They will play their home games at Wildcat Field, at Clear Creek High School. The inaugural season begins on May 27th. League City is a medium sized community in between Houston and Galveston on the Bay.  It is rapidly growing, but still has a main street with that downtown charm.  If you love boats and water sports, League City is the place for you.  You can be downtown in about 40 minutes and Galveston in about 30.  The people in League City are friendly and it gives you a sense of a close community.  You wouldn't know you are 40 minutes away from the 4th largest city in the nation. 03/27/2007
