The Farm at Carolina Forest community restriction prohibit resident from having their own swimming pools. It appears someone from outside the HOA is trying to change the HOA pool restriction. Someone will start to go door to door asking residents in The Farm to sign a petition to support the restrict rules for in ground swimming pools be changed. The Myrtle Beach 1% Tourism tax has become the Carolina Forest Tourism Tax. The additional 1% Tourism Tax that the Town of Myrtle Beach approved was to be placed on the City of Myrtle Beach. The tax is improperly taxing the residents of Carolina Forest. Carolina Forest is located just outside the city limits of Myrtle Beach and is considered the unincorporated area of Horry County.  Carolina Forest does have a mailing address of Myrtle Beach but is not located in the city limits.
