Breana and I went up to the Ellijay mountains to visit with my parents and ran across this beautiful subdivision called Black Bear Ridge Mountain sitting well off the beaten path.  Ever since we purchased the flip video we try and take it every where we go. We have such a great time with it. Has anyone discovered the beautiful scenery in the Emery Creek area of Fourt Mountian. There are beautiful raging creeks with large boulders and waterfalls throughout.  There are large parcels of land for sale that are private and off the beaten path. Bear Lodge Falls is one log cabin we have enjoyed staying in.  The home overhangs a private waterfalls. The sounds of the water rushing over the rocks is so relaxing, I found it hard to leave the porch and go for a hike.There are marked hiking trails throughout the woods that connect up to Fort Mountain State Park and to the Cohutta Wilderness as well.  Wildlife is everywhere from bear to deer to squirrels.  Check out this web site if you are looking for a great cabin rental.  http://www.bearlodgefalls.com/They offer a hot tub, billards ro... 04/13/2008

It is equally as important for you to know what agency relationship it is that you have with your salesperson or agent. Dedicated mountain bikers from Gilmer County and beyond will converge on Fort Mountain State Park in Chatsworth Sunday, June 10. The challenging race in which they will be competing is the fifth leg in the Georgia State Championship mountain biking series and its course is said to be known for its high heights, as well as its low lows.The race itself is being organized by the local chapter of SORBA (Southern Offroad Biking Association), but is open to all competitors. Falgiano notes that Ellijay and its immediate surrounding area are recognized statewide as top terrain for offroad biking enthusiasts. Over 200 bikers are expected to compete in beginner, sport and advanced classes.
