There's a handy work-around whilst the dev team fixes things in the background. No need to create a new blog post (although that works, too), just:

You have to use a workaround from Craig Daniels to edit an existing blog post until the updates are completed.
Andrea has got it for you below.

Andrea Bedard to the rescue with Craig's workaround. I hear it works but have not had time to try it! Good luck

I'm so frustrated with trying to post, and then edit, that I've decided to take a hiatus from posting to my blog until the edit button returns. I just posted something new, and wanted to break up a run on sentence but am woe to make it happen, even when trying to use Craig's workaround.
When I plug in:
activerain.com/action/blogs_admin/write /5644028
I get "Where's my Keys."

As you can ascertain from the comments here, you are not the first one to run into the current roadblocks that exist as updates and revisions are being made to the Active Rain platform.

That's grat, maybe after this, we can all start working for Tesla and finding worarounds for Elon too. Seriously though, I find it odd that users are the ones who have to step in to correct the mistakes of the developer. Quite shocking to be honest. Galf he doesn't work for me.:)
Thanks to everyone for contributing and helping out. With the technology we have now, there is no need to cause these disruptions on a live site. Surely they could have worked on it using a copy from a staging platform until they got everything working beofre moving it over to the new layout. Or was the plan to use the members as beta tested guinea pigs?
Perhaps a refund is in order for those like myself who have to pay for the privilege.
