Spying on people 1984 style ain’t my thang. If there was a way to do it less creepy like when flks text for more info and know they're subjecting themselves to it, OK.
Building relationships with people and earning the referrals through my conpetence & character is how I connect the dots between buyers, sellers and myself.
I’m really not seeing how you can’t come across creepy with technology like that, but it's 6:10 AM and I'm pre-coffee.

Oh my gosh. This is so not me. It all feels so intrusive and invasive. We have enough of that in life - cameras everywhere. Using such technology to catch "bad guys" is about as far as I am comfortable with. Beyond that, if I were contacted in any way by someone using such examples as stated above, I would not want anything to do with them.

This sounds like Soviet Russia or China or better yet voyeurism. This defines desperation. A

No I'm not a fan of that distancing app. I am sure it has been around for awhile but now I'm afraid the cats out of the bag & it will be overused.
Some of it I think we cannot even opt out of it which is even more annoying. Google knows where you are 24/7. Check your maps app, that's where all that info is. It's really scary.

For #3: Bluetooth beacons on signs were doing this for a while. I guess you could use a wifi network name advert too.
The more and more that gets common place and even desired now with covid crap, the more I leave my phone off or at home. next phone will have an easily removable battery as a mandatory requirement. May activate an old burner to keep with for calls and leave the fancy email capable one at home.

Have you ever quietly browsed on a site only to have a pop up start following you around?
It's a turnoff to perceive you're being spied on.
We don't buy that way . . . we run.

Stalking and tracking boils down to why, how, where, who, what & when and I will say this: I don't like being tracked, stalked, followed and all the rest. Look at it as living SPAM and it imitates eerily criminal behaviors of a sort...

Being a data fanatic, I would LOVE this!
Actually, if you use the sign rider that says to text 12345 to 67890, you're collecting that same data...and we've been doing that for years!
