If there ever was a time to do right we are here now. Those that did will not be forgotten. An insurance company showing charity? Amazing & well done

GEICO emailed me that they will give a 15% discount (about $150) on our auto insurance BUT (there's always a but...) it won't be given until our policy renews in July. Other people will see the 15% on their renewal if it falls between April-October, I think. To be honest, I am very disappointed with this...as far as I know they are the only company giving the credit at renewal. It would be much more helpful during the current situation.

USAA usually gives us money back every year. Most people with USAA will never switch. I won't.!!!

My daughter's car insurance company is giving her 20% for April and May. She served in the Air Force and I believe the company she goes through is USAA. I have seen some commercials, if I'm not mistaken, Progressive, was offering something during these difficult times.

Numerous auto insurance companies are giving rebates or credits. Fewer miles driven and fewer cars on the road means fewer claims.

Nice little gift for us policy holders and good business and good will for the companies.

Yes... State Farm is doing the same starting from mid-March into May. So it will work out to be for about two months.

I haven't heard from them, but heard that several insurance companies are doing this because people are driving so much less.

I'm with Triple A and haven't heard anything.  I don't think it is necessary because they don't lower your insurance when you go on vacation for a month.  The car is covered so it should cost the same in my opinion.
