Things have changed. On the surface and likely behind-the-scenes as well. History-in-the-making.

Very quiet but, it's been beautiful so the neighbors have been out in droves - maintaining social distancing of course.

Spending 75% of our days at home, so no way to know. We do hike daily with our dog and occasionally see other hikers, joggers and a few cars. Grocery stores are full but, relatively organized and mellow.

Lots of folks walking around the neighborhood. We all need to get out. We need to breath the outside air and get some exercise. It is almost comical to see opposing walkers move into the street or cross the street in order to keep adequate space when passing.

Lots of people out getting sterilized by the UV in Sunshine State.
The closing of attractions like beaches force people into smaller and smaller spaces. The bike and running and walking trails are the most congested I've ever witnessed.
Sunshine is a good cleanser.

Our island has road blocks on the bridges to keep non residents out. It feels just like during a hurricane except for the uncertainty of when it will end

My office is downtown Ginger Harper and the absence of traffic is obvious. Yesterday we went for a Sunday Drive and the parks (and retailers that were open) were very busy.

Our small Maine town is pretty much the same except school is out and home study underway with the Internet. Helping elderly, feeding those less fortunate is nothing new in the small town connection. We walk, have space, there is lots of room and plenty to do. We already live belt tightened and not wasting resources and prepare for set backs and kinks in the hose. I am glad I live in a small rural town. Canadians can't come over which hurts gas sales and retail shopping for milk, etc. But we live below our means and the cost of living is so much lower Ginger Harper !

It is like a ghost town here too in NH, the roads are empty. Saturday though, i had to drive to our beach (Hampton Beach) to list a home. It was in the low 50's and traffic was like the 4th of july. The beach had a curfew of 6pm everyone had to be off.

Parking lots near downtown Chicago are nowhere near full. Sidewalks are empty. A good thing during these difficult times.

Our city is in lockdown. We are not allowed to gather in groups especially of 10 or more police will come and break up - Real Estate has been closed down since March 19, 2020 - We are considered non-essential workers. Not allowed to enter houses for any reason not even vacant houses nor hire people to take photos. It is the LAW can face fines even lose license

Our community is quiet with dog walking being the highest visible sign of life. Kids are not to be found. We still play tennis at our local courts. Hopefully this lasts.
