Most of our Vendors do not sponsor any events because of all the respa laws.

No, but now that you mention it, I will thank my favorite title attorney for a great continuing ed presentation he made at an event they co-sponsored.

Yes I always try to do that either in person or with a note. I know what they really want is business and I cannot spread my business that thin to include everyone. I do what I can.

Rick - absolutely! Over the years we have had many vendors that have hosted events and we so appreciate them - to the max!

No, but I will be soon as I'm hosting a meetup event for the local realtors (no not the AR meetup, a board mixer the same night though).

I've never had a vendor spend time and money sponsoring an event... so the answer is no. I don't particularly like these kinds of "relationsips" in general.
But if you're asking if I thank my service partners for good service to my clients... absolutely and with a hand-written note each and every time.

Rick Obst - usually I do. They support the event and keep the cost of the event for attendees down...

If they sponsor my event, definitely. That would be rude not to acknowledge your partner.

Presentation at sales meeting? yes. We have not had a sales meeting for at least 2 years. It is online who the winners are.

I would if I attended such events. I stay pretty much away from the Board.

i would hope we do. like when a lender speaks at a first time buyer class... or helping with their time at our tent at the home and garden show..it helps them, and also helps us
