I never "called".  If I did contact them it was via mail... or they called me as a result of finding me online, through my blog.

"This is Annette with Remax. My buyer saw your home was for sale when they drove through the community. Tell me a little about you house?"

"Bring your buyer by and take a look?"

"They need a 3/2 with no steps? Does this describe your house?"

"Yes, it does?"

"Great, and they don't want to go above $250,000. Are we good?"

"I'm selling it for $300,000!"

"What do you say about me dropping  by this afternoon to take a look?"

'I'm not paying a fee!'

"That's ok. Four o'clock good for you?"

Good morning Leanna. I have two Realtor referral partners that go after expireds and FSBO all the time, they both knock on the door, unless the owners are not local.

We approached FISBO's in Commercial Real Estate, when we actually had an interested party, and then we would ask for a one party exclusive.  We brought our clients, and they decided whether or not they wanted the property.  Many times it was a hit and they did, and we made an offer and the deal went through.

Many other ideas are hear if you search for that answer.  We have a wide range of opinions.  Something may sound good to you.  A

I call them and ask if I can preview their home, but I would ask first if they are willing to pay commission. I posted a question on a fsbo follow up after first contact, I got excellent answers! you should chek it out.

I don't call and refuse to door knock, it is too intrusive. I would not want people bothering me either by phone or in person if I was selling so see no reason to do so to others.

One of my clients door knocks every single morning from 8:30 to 11:30 and after 3 weeks she got 2 listings, high end ones. I am really excited for her!

I don't now.  In the olden days (when dinosaurs roamed the earth), I would call them with a script.  Probably the same script 20 others were using.  "Hi, I noticed your listing expired and I was wondering when you planned on relisting..."
