I do not seem to have this problem. Agents do return my calls. Perhaps it is my serious voice? I would call the managing broker

In the overwhelm of messages and unreliability of our technology it is easy to miss messages.

If it matters go over and see them.

I have gone to the broker's office quite often. Don't necessarily talk to the broker (whose listing it actually is), often another agent can help me. But I persevere if my client wants me to. Often it ends up being a waste of time, but I get it done. I want an answer.

An annoying issue for sure Winston. a couple of times for me. I hate improper phone/message etiquette and especially on a professional basis.

You are going to make yourself crazy. Everyone now is about double dipping. I get my own listings and deal directly with either new construction or rehabbers I know and sell their properties.

I would like to know what's up.

To find out I might need to have a associate place a consumer call to the same agent.

Many have found out that I don't return calls when it is obvious the agent has not read any of the details contained in the MLS REALTOR instructions.

Example: Showing can only be accommodated after 4 PM daily due to shift work and large animals on premise.

Do I REALLY need to take a call to state the obvious, 'No, 10 am is not a good time to show the house."

A buyers agent who refuses to read suggests things to come.

2-3 times, then I would call the Broker. The other Realtor has a fiduciary responsibility to their client. If you have an interested customer/client, then the other Realtor is not working in the best interest of their client.

Winston - I would probably try and contact the agent 3 times within a day. If they did not get back to me, then I would contact their Broker the following day.

I really don't understand why agents do not respond to messages in order to help their clients get their homes sold.

well if it was pending and showing active in the MLS I'd report that.  There's a fine for that.

And I also call the broker if the agent doesn't get back to me in a reasonable amount of time.

Its how you word the contact that may make the difference...Wanting to speak to the Broker or Asking permission to speak with the owner with the agent present may produce a response although it may be combative. . Another is a deadline comment where you say, if I don't hear from you by noon, I will consider that a yes. You decide. There are more examples, but I think U get it
