Winston Heverly I wouldn't think they would be charged since most are grandfathered. Of course you never know, maybe hard to turn down another profit center.I do believe it would hurt their membership.

I doubt the 500,000ers will be charged but you never know. There could be a complete shake up, again I doubt it. I think the focus will be on getting new Ar bloggers.

As of today, there are only 484 members with 500,000 points or more. Many of them are no longer active here, so we're talking about a small number of people who would be affected.
If the product (AR) has a perceived and meaningful value that exceeds the cost, I think that anyone currently on AR or thinking about joining would willingly pay the cost. Ben's focus on AR University and bringing back Bob Stewart indicates that he is thinking in that direction.
AR as a company needs to bring value to its members and we, as members, need to bring value to AR as our real estate social media community.

I certainly hope not. They've sold this free account for life for a long time. More educational webinars under Bob Stewart will be a huge improvement.

Good question. Personally if they do I believe it would hurt and a lot of people would leave.

Winston- who knows, and they may not be sure. I would think that they would want to focus on keeping the current membership while growing it with new members, rather than upsetting an already wobbly apple cart.

There will be much speculation.
I am not interested in paying monthly fees regardless of the changes that may be made.

I would not think so, as we assist the community. With education being added again, they will be able to attract more newbies and retain the current newbies floundering, which will help the financial aspect.

Thanks to all to have participated. With the constant mergers and acquisitions going on, I'm wondering why another move was inevitable? With the recent comments about buying leads it would seem Trulia & Zillow would like the captive audience added to their base.
