To a FSBO they look like a sucker! Kinda like someone at the carnival that walks up to one of those midway booths. They don't know what's in store for them, but the want your money anyway.

FSBO's have their reasons for not hiring an agent, some change, some dont.

Unfortunately, I think that FSBO's think that everyone is out to get them... including buyers, and most certainly agents.

They had better not have the appearance of being atypical to the neighborhood. A mirror like reflection would be the ultimate choice. Where emotion is involved pre-judgment can be a detriment to the cause. Lose that and all will be well. Henna tattoos on foreheads stating "APPROVED BUYER" and / or "MOTIVATED SELLER" may also be of help!

Just watch the news to see what can go wrong when going FSBO. Be wise and use a knowledgeable Realtor who knows they're bringing a 'real' buyer to your home.

Most do not know, they think every person who cslls or comes by is a buyer and soon learn what ready to buy vs able to buy means

Yes, what do they look like? Are they pre-qualified, pre-approved or just looking for a steal???

I'm sorry to admit it but some for sale by owner do a better job of marketing than several agents in our area have..

Evelyn Johnston - I had my Powerpoint presentation for FSBOs - and I had the same question in it!
Somehow, in this market, they think they can do everything!
